It’s a warm October night in Los Angeles, the air is thick with anticipation as the sellout crowd of over 54,000, mostly in Dodger Blue, floods legendary Dodger Stadium like a giant wave. Dodger fans are pumped their team has finally made it back to the fall classic after more than twenty years and have shown up in force to support their team. The Astros are down 1-0 in the best of seven series but this team isn’t going down without a fight and the Dodgers know that. Little did I know how special this game would be!
This game was wild...an experience unlike any other. You could actually feel how high the stakes were for both teams. The tension was so palpable from inning to inning all I could do was clench my souvenir Dodger helmet filled with nachos as I took in the drama that unfolded around me. The crowd exploded with excitement when the Dodgers were up in the final inning, followed by stunned silence as the Astros tied the game with a giant home run right at the doorstep of defeat to send it into extra innings. For eleven innings these two divisional champs battled it out, putting the entire crowd on an emotional roller coaster that seemed like it would never end. By the time it was over, game two would go down in baseball history as having more home runs than any other World Series game before it. The Dodgers lost this one 7-6 in epic fashion, but with the best of seven series tied at one game apiece there is still a lot of baseball to be played. Get your tickets now because if tonight’s game is a glimpse of what’s to come… the 2017 World Series should be one for the ages.

This is baseball’s biggest stage and the prices are big too. The cheapest seats that night were $900 and the most expensive was $25,000.
Things I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me...
Everything is expensive.
This is the World Series so everything is expensive. You may have to break the piggy bank but it’s worth it.
Buy your merchandise early.
The lines are long and things sell out quickly. I got really lucky and got the last hat and program the store had. The whole stadium sold out of World Series merchandise by the second inning.
Be respectful to others.
Baseball is supposed to be fun so enjoy game in a respectful way. If you get out of hand security will ask you to leave.
Go to the restroom before you leave.
It took us an hour to get out of the parking lot and another hour to get home. I live less than 10 miles away. So make sure you hit the bathroom before you leave the stadium.
Things You Will Need at The World Series
Money. Things are expensive and most vendors accept credit cards but it wouldn’t hurt to carry a little cash.
Represent that Dodger Blue. Wear your Dodger gear: hats, t-shirts, jackets. If you don't have anything, get into the spirit and buy a shirt or hat. It’s part of the fun.
Jacket. Even though it was pretty warm out, by the time the game finished the temperature had dropped pretty significantly so dress appropriately.
Bring your camera! This may be a once in a lifetime chance to see your team in a World Series. Take as many videos and pictures as you can.
Play Ball!!!!!
