When summer arrives, everyone is looking for a way to cool down and beat the heat. Things I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me….
Want to make reservations? Not so fast!! They do not take reservations for the Rooftop. It is first come, first serve.
Parking is difficult. The best way to get there is to take an Uber. There is metered parking all around, so if you can find a spot, take it - you lucky person you. Otherwise I would recommend parking at the Arclight Theater two blocks east on Sunset. Might be a little pricey but better than a ticket.
This is a what?! Mama Shelter is a hotel as well. They have locations around the world. So if you are coming in from out of town and need a place to stay, check out the website to see rates.
Standing Room only! I wasn’t kidding...it’s a hotspot! It gets crowded and they only allow a certain amount of people on the rooftop at one time. So you may end up finding yourself waiting to take the elevator up. Get there early so you can stake out your spot!
Sir, you can’t take that with you. You can’t take drinks down to the hotel lobby. We were stopped and they kindly informed us we had to finish them before we headed down.
