Nothing could have prepared us for our first trip to the El Capitan Theater. We thought we were just going to see a movie and what we got was an experience. It’s like going to a show at Disneyland, but you are smack dab in the middle of Hollywood Blvd! Disney took over the theater in the late 80’s restoring it to its former glory and putting on a show that is undeniably Disney. It’s an experience like no other in Hollywood, putting the fun back into going to the movies.

Things I Wish Someone Would Have Told Me…
Make sure you leave time to find parking. It is Hollywood and parking can be a pain, not to mention pricey. So, we suggest you get to the theater early so you are not rushed.
If you have kids with you keep a close eye on them. Hollywood Blvd is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country which means large crowds. It can be really easy to get lost or separated from your group. So parents...make sure you keep an eye on your children.
Make sure you get there early! They actually have live entertainment before the show. The organ player is pretty awesome!
Cash and Credit Cards are accepted.
Things You Will Need at the El Capitan Theater!
Bring a sweater! If you get chilly easily, make sure you bring something to keep yourself warm.
Money. They have some deals on concessions but it is still pricey.
Your ID. You can’t drink, but they may need to check ID’s for entry.
Non-professional camera. They have no problem with you taking photos before or after the show. Please do not film or take pictures during the show.
HAVE FUN!!!!!
